Crazy School Schedule/Moving/Disney on Ice/Valentines Day

I have had the craziest last 2 weeks ever. Now that assignments are in, I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. In less than 2 months I will be all done my BSW! I'm finding it incredibly difficult to balance all of the things going on right now: working 2 jobs, placement, school work, classes, and the side project of working with Environment Hamilton. I've determined that the brunt of it is over and March is a relatively laid back month so before I know it school will be done. I love that all my social work professors have the final assignments due before the month of April (no actual exams, just assignments!).

So because I have nothing in the month of April aside from work in London, it worked every conveniently for us to move back to London earlier than expected! We are moving in with Chelsea and Warren at the end of March. I figured since my placement is in between Hamilton and London, I can practice the commute (hopefully I get a job there!). I am ready to have the Hamilton (driving back & forth so damn frequently) chapter of my life done and over with and be closer to friends/family :) London here I come!!

Disney on Ice: On a very exciting note, I got free tickets to the Disney on Ice show in London at the JLC for last weekend (like a week and a half ago) and I took my 2 year old niece! I forgot my camera though... darnit! She was so cute, when she first got there she was shy and looking around at the other kids, then once the show started she looked so surprised to see all the characters she knows.. she named them all off for me (Mickey, Minnie, Daisey...). We left at intermission, but I think she really enjoyed the music and action!

Valentines Day: well we didn't make a big deal out of Valentines Day this year so we decided to go low key with gifts and make supper/dessert at home. I made Aleksy a little gift basket with a couple of beers and some bags of candy that I made up from the bulk store. I took a picture of it to document my hard work (for a very reasonable price!)

Aleksy came home on Monday and he made supper, I was in charge of dessert ad appetizers. We had some brie, and havarti with crackers and olive baguette with apple chutney as an appetizer, then for supper we had chicken with red wine vinegar and vegetables. I made cheesecake and chocolate covered fruit for dessert.

It was a very simple Valentines Day. Last years was too. I think next year we can go out for supper since we haven't for the past 2 years!

2 DAYS TIL ROADTRIP TO NEW ORLEANS!! YAAAAAAA!! Soooo excited to get away for a week (actually more than a week!) and experience new things! We are leaving Friday and the only thing we have booked is in New Orleans for 2 nights and the rest we're winging! I think Texas is looking good at this point but we'll see how it goes!
